This winding highway doesn’t offer many pull out points, so take advantage of the viewpoint to take some pics of the area. A stretch of Highway 99 between Pemberton and Lillooet has partially reopened after it was completely closed Wednesday afternoon due to what RCMP called a “serious motorcycle incident.” there is some RV sites near Lillooet then if you take HIghway 12 the Stein Valley to Lytton you can get to the Okanagan where you will find lots of options for RV sites with large warm water lakes between Vernon and Osoyoos; then you can go back to Vancouver via Highway #3 with a stop in Manning Park. There was still snow on the mountain when we were driving on this Duffy Lake Road or Hwy 99, you would see the 'Avalanche' sign almost everywhere.
