Occasionally during the examination, it was necessary for the Inspector to write to the Council to offer procedural direction or to seek clarification. A year after submission, last week Plan:MK was adopted as the strategic Local Plan document to shape growth of the borough to 2031. Additional modifications include corrections to typographical errors and updated factual information, and the schedule of additional modifications was published as part of the consultation for clarity and completeness. This is to be in three stages: The Programme Officer is an independent Officer of the Examination and works on behalf of the Inspector to organise and manage the administrative and procedural elements of the Examination process. The plans want to allocate an area of land next to Oxley Park and Kingsmead, but located in Buckinghamshire Council’s boundaries, for growth of around 1,800 houses. The relevant soundness criteria are whether the Plan is: 1 – positively prepared (based on a strategy that seeks to meet objectively assessed development and infrastructure requirements, including unmet requirements from neighbouring authorities, where it is reasonable to do so and consistent with achieving sustainable development); 2 - justified (the most appropriate strategy when considered against the reasonable alternatives, based on proportionate evidence); 3 – effective (the plan should be deliverable over its period and based on effective joint working on cross-boundary strategic priorities); and. Local partnership tackles Digital Poverty MK Community Foundation are working in partnership with It’s What’s Next IT to refurbish donated old, used, or surplus laptops to distribute to students under the age of 18 living in Milton Keynes.
